This kit includes Legionella testing and Total Viable Count (TVC) testing from the submitted water sample.
Is this the same as the Legionella-only kit?
No. This option includes additional TVC testing, which provides a broader indication of general bacterial activity in the sample.
How long do results take?
Results are typically issued around 13 days after the samples are received by the laboratory and are sent by email once all analysis is complete.
Does this replace a Legionella Risk Assessment?
No. This kit supports routine sampling and monitoring records. It does not replace a Legionella Risk Assessment.
What if Legionella is detected?
The report will confirm the level detected. Your Responsible Person or water hygiene provider should review the result and decide appropriate follow-up action.
