This is a self-sampling kit with laboratory analysis included. This service does not replace a Legionella Risk Assessment. Prices exclude VAT. VAT will be added at checkout where applicable.

What does this test include?
This kit includes laboratory analysis for key microbiological indicators used to assess hot tub and spa pool water quality.
The standard test includes:
• Total Viable Count (TVC) at 22°C and 37°C
• Coliform bacteria
• Escherichia coli (E. coli)
An optional Legionella test can also be selected when ordering.
What does the kit include?
Each kit includes the required sample bottles, clear step-by-step instructions, sample labels, prepaid return packaging, laboratory analysis, and results issued by email.
How long do results take?
Once the laboratory receives your sample, results are typically issued within approximately 3-5 days.
Is this a Legionella test?
No — this kit does not test for Legionella bacteria. Legionella testing is available as a separate kit.
Who takes responsibility for the sample?
This is a self-sampling service. The customer is responsible for taking the sample in accordance with the provided instructions.
What happens if a result is positive?
If a positive result is identified, professional advice should be sought. Focus On Testing Ltd can provide guidance on appropriate next steps if required.
Are prices inclusive of VAT?
No. All prices exclude VAT. VAT is calculated and added at checkout.
A VAT invoice is provided for all orders.
What happens if the sample is taken incorrectly?
As this is a self-sampling service, Focus On Testing Ltd cannot be responsible for sample quality or handling once the kit has been provided.
